Assisted Living

At The Allegro at College Harbor, we strive to provide the perfect blend of assistance and independence that seniors desire. Our Assisted Living services are customized to meet individual needs—we build flexibility into the level of assistance we provide and work to maintain each resident’s highest level of independence.

Residents can feel secure knowing staff is available seven days a week, 24 hours a day. In addition, every apartment is equipped with an emergency response system. Our staff can provide daily care and a variety of other services, including:

Medication and mobility assistance
Help with bathing, dressing and grooming
Reassurance and intervention for minor confusion and forgetfulness
Daily meals with special diet accommodations
Personal laundry
Daily bed making and trash removal

Skilled Nursing

Whether it’s for a short recuperative stay or inpatient therapy, residents at The Allegro at College Harbor have access to skilled nursing services on site at our Health Center. Our team of professionals brings a balanced perspective to each resident’s unique needs — nursing, dietary, activities, social services and rehabilitation.

From the first day of admission, the team meets as a group, forms and maintains a care plan, and invites family members to participate in discussions and decision-making. Efforts are focused on preparing each resident to return to his or her previous living arrangement.

Among our many services, the Health Center can provide:

24-hour supervision by qualified licensed nurses and staff
Full-time activities and social services coordinators
Daily meals and snacks (including special diets)
Physical, occupational, speech and respiratory therapy
Dental, optometry, podiatry, psychiatry and counseling services

The Health Center has a reputation as a first-class health care provider. It is licensed by the state of Florida and participates in Medicare and third-party insurance programs.
