Receptionist
The Receptionist is the point of contact for anyone coming to the property and is a vital part of the first impression of our community. You would greet all visitors in a friendly and helpful manner, assisting them or directing them to the appropriate staff member. In addition to providing exceptional customer service, the Receptionist performs administrative tasks with a high degree of detail. This position requires excellent social skills and a working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
Maintenance Assistant
The Maintenance Assistant is responsible for assisting the Environmental Director in maintaining the mechanical and physical aspects of the property. In addition to providing exceptional customer service, primary functions include performing necessary repairs in apartments and common areas of the property in a timely manner, and adherence to the community’s preventative maintenance program, record keeping compliance and inventory controls. Requirements include demonstrable maintenance skills, a valid driver’s license and good communication skills. Must also be willing and available to be on call when assigned.
Cook
As Cook, your role is important in providing the quality resident dining experience our community is noted for. By preparing high quality meals, our residents can be assured of an exceptional dining experience. Cleanliness of the food service area and equipment would also be a top priority. You would be responsible for maintaining a safe environment as well as properly storing food supplies and maintaining service records to ensure the kitchen runs smoothly. You would be required to lift and carry loads and add to the positive social environment through your interaction with our residents.
Server
In this position, you are the one who makes a positive first impression to our residents in their dining experience. You would provide friendly service to them within a timely and professional manner. By taking food and beverage orders, cleaning tables and maintaining a safe and attractive dining area, you would be adding to an enjoyable dining experience for the residents. You would lift and carry loads and use your good verbal skills to interact with residents and help create a pleasant dining atmosphere.
Housekeeper
Your role as Housekeeper enhances the overall positive impression of our community and assures our residents have a clean, attractive living environment. As Housekeeper, you would prepare vacant apartments for new residents and clean the currently-occupied rooms on a weekly basis. You would also be responsible for cleaning the common areas of the property to help maintain the pleasant appearance of our property for residents, family and guests. Related duties would include laundering, attending to trash, and stocking housekeeping carts. You would be required to lift and carry loads and interact with residents, adding positively to their senior living experience. Your interaction with co-workers would add to our sense of teamwork and professionalism.
Care Staff
This vital role as caregiver provides care services to residents in the Assisted Living area under the direction of licensed nursing personnel. You would help maintain and add to the positive physical and social environment for our residents by fulfilling your assigned duties. You would apply your care giving skills by assisting residents with activities of daily living, maintaining care records, monitoring vital signs, and complying with all State regulations. Your good interactive skills, used in a friendly, helpful manner, would enhance the lifestyle experience of the residents and add to the professional work environment with your co-workers. As a caregiver, you would be expected to possess Licensed Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Nursing Assistant (NA) certifications, depending upon State requirements. Your effective communication skills would be important in resident and staff interactions. You would also be required to be on call as assigned.
Driver
The Driver for the community would interact with residents and guests while providing transportation services in a safe, reliable and courteous manner. As a Driver you would assure that residents arrive at health care and banking appointments on time and transport them to other locations to enjoy outings and events. You would assist residents on and off company vehicles, maintain proper service records, and clean the vehicles to add to a pleasurable experience for our residents. As a Driver, you are required to possess a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record. In some instances you may be required to hold a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
Dishwasher
The purpose of this position is to implement the established procedures for sanitizing eating utensils in an efficient manner to safely meet residents’ needs in compliance with federal, state and local requirements.
