The Allegro at Fleming Island
June 1, 2009 — Orange Park, FL — The Allegro at Fleming Island will be honored with two state-wide awards presented by the Florida Health Care Activities Coordinators Association at an awards ceremony in Orlando in July. Of the six state-wide awards being presented, two are being presented to The Allegro at Fleming Island. The “Community Service Award” is being presented to Becky Williamson, teacher at Ridgeview High School, who has been utilizing The Allegro at Fleming Island as a job site to train youth with intellectual challenges. The second award is for “Resident Volunteer” and is being presented to Barbara Mitola for her volunteerism to combat Alzheimer’s disease. Estella Salazar, Program Director at The Allegro at Fleming Island, serves as the President of the Florida Health Care Activities Coordinators Association.
