The Allegro Honored With Two State-Wide Awards
The Allegro At Fleming Island
July 10, 2009 — Orange Park, FL — The Allegro at Fleming Island was honored with two state-wide awards on July 10, 2009 during a ceremony in Orlando. The prestigious awards were presented by the Florida Health Care Activities Coordinators Association. Of the six state-wide awards being presented at the ceremony, two were given to The Allegro at Fleming Island.
The “Community Service Award” was presented to Becky Williamson, teacher at Ridgeview High School, who has been utilizing The Allegro at Fleming Island as a job site to train youth with intellectual challenges. The second award was given to “Resident Volunteer” Barbara Mitola for her dedicated time to combat Alzheimer’s disease. Estella Salazar, Program Director at The Allegro at Fleming Island, serves as the President of the Florida Health Care Activities Coordinators Association. The Allegro at Fleming Island offers independent living, assisted living, and memory care to seniors seeking a comfortable and active lifestyle.
