Allegro Hosts Silent Auction Benefiting
Alzheimer's Association

The Allegro at Fleming Island

October 15, 2009 — Orange Park, FL — The Allegro at Fleming Island hosted “Jazz It Up”, a silent auction and evening of live jazz on Thursday, October 15th benefiting the Alzheimer’s Association. Over 50 guests strolled the second floor of The Allegro enjoying drinks, hors d’ oeuvres and a live jazz trio while perusing over 100 items of art ranging from framed prints, mirrors, furniture and original art. Several local artists donated paintings, original handmade pottery and fine jewelry. Over $3000 was raised to benefit The Alzheimer’s Association which will be used to fund research and support families in Florida affected by this tragic disease.

The Allegro Striders plan to continue raising funds leading up to this year’s Memory Walk on Saturday, November 14th at The Jacksonville Landing. Anyone interested in making a contribution or participating in the walk, please contact The Allegro at 904-278-4442.
